Result Entry Module
This module is password protected. It has a facility for easy search for patients, based on predefined parameters. It is possible to get the investigation status for each patient, just on one click. To facilitate fast reporting and ease data entry, default values and limits are displayed. Any high/low values are automatically color coded by the system. The system has a facility to view previous results by parameters. The system allows demarcations for normal, alert and critical ranges. It is possible to have a preview of all reports before printing of the same. There is an inbuilt text editor for memo reports, which could be used to highlight,. Bold, color, font as also a spell check facility. The system records the last user date and time stamp for audit purposes. The system supports calculation of parameter values by means of formulae. Most importantly, reports once dispatched cannot be modified, as a security feature

Reports
The reporting system has a variety of comprehensive options. Thus, printing of reports could be batched either by area, or centre or all jobs, or only incomplete jobs. The system has a facility of printing both Abnormal and All reports. Similarly, a list of pending tests for a user defined period can be generated. The system generates daily worksheet for the technicians, based on the samples collected. The system generates abnormal test analysis in a graphical format. Similarly, the system has a facility for generating analytical report for parametric comparison.

Masters Module
This module facilitates defining of various parameters in the system. E.g. Tests, Information about Tests, Parameters, Normal Values, High Low Ranges, Help Values, Default Values, etc. Similarly, this module defines all the Reporting details, e.g. Parameter positioning in the report, footers in the report, headers, printing together facility, etc. The system also provides for definition of profiles. The system allows defining of Outside labs, where samples are sent for investigations.

Management Information Systems (MIS)
This module generates a variety of MIS reports, which include the number of patients by center, by doctor, by area. These reports can either be generated either for a weekly or monthly period. The system generates graphs, and the plotting of graphs is user defined.

All the above modules are tightly integrated. Further, security features are inbuilt, providing rights-based access to information.

Tests Sent To Referral Labs
This module is useful for tracking dispatches of samples and collection of reports to and fro the specialty labs. e.g.. T3, T4, HIV, etc. The details of specialty labs and respective reports can be generated.

Quality Assurance System
This module is typically used in conjunction with Interfacing of medical equipment (both uni-directional & bi-directional). The system provides an easy to use interface to authenticate or approve the results available against each parameter. To aid the authentication, the user can view graphically, the comparison of his previous values with the current parameter for the same or combination with other parameter. This system provides an assurance to the doctor for his authentication

Quality Control System
We have adopted the Levvy Jennings methodology for QC.

Web Enabled System
Using the Web enabled system, it is possible to view the workload of patient registration as also the results of the tests on the Internet. The patient on registration is issued an unique ID, which is used for identification. E-mail with a URL and Password is also sent to the patient, with which the reports can be viewed on the internet securely. Similarly, the dispatch status of the report can be viewed on the Internet. Further, rights can be provided to consultants to view the above details.

Uni-Directional Software System Per Medical Equipment.
For equipment which supports only uni-directional flow, the Lab Id (Accession No.) and tests are entered in equipment. As and when results are calculated they are automatically sent to the host. 21st Century Health’s LINK captures the data and automatically updates against the patient

Bi-Directional Software System Per Medical Equipment
For equipment which supports bi-directional flow of data, the Bar-coded samples having accession nos. are loaded in the machines. 21st Century Health’s LINK will automatically download the tests to the medical equipment when requested. As and when results are calculated they are automatically sent to host, without any manual intervention. 21st Century Health’s LINK captures the data and automatically updates against the patient
